I was very inspired by female free divers of Jeju island, called haenyeo. They have been around harvesting the ocean floor since 17th century and nowadays, the last of their kind. These women are resilient, extremely brave and hardworking. A lot of them are still working in their 80s. I created a portrait sketch with my interpretation of one of the haenyeo. Sculpted in Nomad and Zbrush.
